Art Competition

We are pleased to provide you and your students details about the 40th Annual Congressional Arts Competition — An Artistic Discovery. We are hopeful that you will be willing to share these details with promising young student artists.

The Artistic Discovery Competition is voluntarily sponsored by individual Members of Congress, and we are pleased that to announce that Congressman Fitzgerald’s office plans to host a competition for student artists residing and/or attending school in Wisconsin’s 5th Congressional District. This Competition provides an opportunity for student artists to showcase their work, and it also gives the First Place Winner an opportunity to showcase their artwork at the United States Capitol Building in Washington, DC for one year.

You can access the necessary Competition documents and forms by visiting the Congressional Art Competition webpage at: https://www.house.gov/educators-and-students/congressional-art-competition

Our office has established an April 15, 2021, deadline for student art submissions.

Each 5th District high school (public, private or homeschool) may select up to four entries to submit, with the preference being only one entry per student if possible. (Please contact our office to make delivery arrangements for the student art pieces your students wish to submit.)

Should you have any questions or if you would like more information about the program, you are encouraged to call our District Office at (262) 784-1111 or submit the following form.
